***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Status report by way of affidavit of Hardev Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-division, Majitha, Amritsar-Rural, has been filed in court today. Same is taken on record. Learned State counsel has referred to Para 05 thereof. Same reads as under:- "That it is most respectfully submitted that keeping in view the facts and submissions made here-in-above, it is evident that no incident of kidnapping of Paramjit Kaur wife of the petitioner has occurred on 28.10.2017 or thereafter, she has not disappeared rather she is present at the house of the petitioner. Furthermore, no incident of any kind of theft has occurred at the house of the petitioner. No intimation in this regard was ever given by the petitioner at Police Station Majitha, Amritsar. All the allegations leveled in his application (petition) by the petitioner have been found to be false and frivolous. Therefore, the petition is liable to be dismissed on the basis of these grounds."
