SUDIP AHLUWALIA J. (ORAL) Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner has tendered a copy of the order passed by the Ld. Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jagadhri on 31st August, 2021 from which it transpires that the Petitioner has already been granted interim bail by the said court in compliance of the previous order passed in this case on 27th August, 2021.

As the Petitioner is now facing trial following such surrender and bail granted to him, continuation of the present proceedings would clearly amount to an abuse of the process of the Court. 3.

Consequently, on submission of Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner, the present Petition is disposed off with a direction that the interim bail already granted to the Petitioner shall be confirmed by the Ld. Trial Court. It is further clarified that in the event of any default by the Petitioner in attending the Trial Court in future, harsh consequences are liable to follow.
