(Oral) The petitioner seeks grant of the anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in a case bearing FIR No.131 dated 12.05.2021 under Sections 307, 34 and 506 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, registered with Police Station Lopoke, Amritsar Rural, District Amritsar. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 20.04.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Baldev Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 20.04.2022 and is not required for custodial interrogation. In this view of the matter, interim order dated 20.04.2022 is made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The petition stands disposed of.
