CWP No. 1274 of 2016 On oral request of counsel for the petitioner, hearing of the main case is pre-poned from 24.02.2016 to today. The petitioner seeks the relief of regularization of services from the date his juniors had been regularized and to grant him consequential benefits.
It is the case of the petitioner that he has been working since 1998 as an Electrician and after 2010, he has been working as a Driver on the hydraulic stairs. He has thus completed 17 years of service with respondent no. 2-Corporation. It is his case that persons who had joined later have been duly regularized whereas, he has been left out. The details of the persons have been given in para no. 3 of the legal notice dated SHIVANI GUPTA 2016.02.09 12:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CWP No. 1274 of 2016 01.08.2015 (Annexure P-5) which he had served upon the respondents bringing to their notice his grouse which remains unanswered. Counsel submits that he would be satisfied if the same is decided within a time bound frame.

Mr. R.S. Sidhu, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 3. Copy of the writ petition has been supplied to him in Court.
Keeping in view the limited relief sought, this Court is of the opinion that there is no need for the respondents to file reply. Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 3 to take further action on the legal notice dated 01.08.2015 (Annexure P-5) which has been served upon respondent no. 2 within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. Needless to say if the relief is to be denied, a reasoned order be passed and conveyed to the petitioner. 05.02.2016 (G.S.
