*** Daya Chaudhary, J. (Oral) The grievance of the petitioners is that their case is covered by the Division Bench judgment of this Court rendered in CWP No.2371 of 2010 passed on 31.08.2010.
Subsequently, similarly situated employees approached this Court by way of filing CWP No.7624 of 2016 and the same was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the demand raised in the legal notice served by them upon the respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have also served legal notice upon the respondents but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel also submits that the petitioners would be satisfied in case, the directions are issued by this Court to decide the legal notice (Annexure P-8).

CWP No.12746 of 2016 On the asking of the Court, notice on behalf of the State has been accepted by Mr. R.S. Sidhu, AAG, Punjab. Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and keeping in view the limited prayer of the petitioners, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to look into the averments made in the legal notice (Annexure P-8) and to take necessary action in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
Disposed of accordingly.
