The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 3 to remove respondent No.4 from the present post of Additional Charge of B.D.P.O. Chogavan, Tehsil Ajnala, District Amritsar for committing irregularities and withdrawing government funds amount without any authority.

A further prayer has been made seeking issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside the reinstatement of respondent vide order dated 24.11.2022 (Annexure P-5/T) and transfer order dated 29.01.2024 (Annexure P-6/T).
