******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 70 dated 18.03.2019 registered for offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 466, 467, 468 and 471 of Indian Penal Code, at Police Station Sadar Yamunanagar, District Yamunanagar. Heard.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he produced forged revenue record to the bank by concealing the earlier mortgage of the land in order to get sanctioned a loan of `11,60,000/-. Learned State counsel submits that all the documents produced by the petitioner do not contain entries of previous mortgage while in the revenue record these entries were there. Custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required to verify the modus he adopted to get the fake jamabandies and to know about the persons involved. CRM-M-27296 of 2019 -2In view of submission of learned State counsel and keeping in view the fact that some forged record was alleged to have been produced by the petitioner in order to get the loan sanctioned, I find no reason to exercise the discretionary power of this Court to extend the benefit of anticipatory bail to petitioner at this stage.
Dismissed.
