(Oral) Present petition has been filed with a prayer that the representation dated 22.08.2020 (Annexure P-3) which the petitioner had submitted to respondent No. 2 i.e. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala, be decided in a time bound manner and an appropriate action be taken against the accused as the sister-in-law of the petitioner has allegedly been murdered by administering poisonous substance. Notice of motion.
Mr. Sandeep Singh Deol, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who has also joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Learned State counsel raises no objection with regard to the prayer of the petitioner for deciding the representation dated 22.08.2020 (Annexure P-3) by respondent No. 2 in a time bound manner. In case after the decision, it is found that the action is required to be taken, the same will also be taken at the earliest.
