On our asking, Ms.Kirti Singh, learned Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Let five copies of the writ petition be supplied to the State counsel during the course of day failing which this order shall be automatically recalled and the writ petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed for non-prosecution. In view of the nature of order which we propose to pass, it is not necessary to seek any counter-reply from the respondents at this stage.
The petitioner is a resident of village Dhanora Jattan, Tehsil Thanesar, District Kurukshetra. It is averred that his house No.225 alongwith adjoining house Nos.224 and 226 MOHINDER KUMAR 2015.08.13 15:00 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CWP No.13752 of 2015 [2] fall in Ward No.8. The petitioner has further alleged that while House Nos.224 and 226 have been retained in Ward No.8 but the voter nos. of his entire family living in House No.225 have been shifted to Ward No.9 for the ensuing Gram Panchayat elections. The petitioner represented in this regard to the Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra vide representation dated 15.04.2015 (P-5) but finding no response, has approached this Court.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and without expressing any views on the petitioner's allegations but keeping in view the nature of relief sought by him, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra, to look into the above-mentioned petitioner's claim and redress the same in accordance with Rules/bye-laws, as early as possible but before the Gram Panchayat elections are held.
Ordered accordingly.
