Prayer in the instant petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3, to provide protection of life and liberty to the petitioner, from respondents no.4 to 11, who are extending life threats to the petitioner. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that the petitioner has already moved a representation dated 11.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) to respondent No.2. He has further submitted that he would be satisfied if the aforesaid representation is decided in a time bound manner.

Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab accepts notice and submitted that she has no objection if the aforesaid representation dated 11.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) is directed to be decided.
