(Oral) Present petition has been preferred by the petitioner for quashing of order dated 04.11.2015 passed by the State Information Commissioner, Punjab, whereby it has been directed that the petitioner would supply information to the applicant (respondent No.1) free of cost. Vide order dated 27.02.2017 passed by a co-ordinate Bench, it was directed that in case respondent No.1 deposits Rs.20,000/-, process of supplying information would be undertaken. It is not clear whether said order has been complied with.

Stand of the petitioner is that amount, in question, has not been deposited. Learned counsel agree that the matter is still pending before the State Information Commissioner.

Under the circumstances, present petition is hereby disposed of with liberty to the authority to proceed further with the case. It may, however, ensure the requisite amount is deposited by the applicant/respondent No.1 in order to enable the petitioner to supply the information as required by him.
