***** KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) The counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No.1 is already married but is having strained relations with his wife and both the petitioners are presently into live-in relationship. The counsel for the petitioners further submits that respondents No.4 and 5 who are against the live-in relationship of the petitioners are extending threats to them and in this context represetnation (Annexure P-3) has already been given to the police authorities, but no action has been taken. Notice of motion.

( 2 ) CRWP-6961-2022 Mr. Naveen Kumar Sheoran, DAG, accepts notice on behalf of the State of Haryana. He submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In view of above, without going into merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to consider representation (Annexure P-3) and to provide appropriate protection to the petitioners if so warranted. However, any observations made in this order will not be construed as an expression of opinion on the relationship between the petitioners.

Respondents No.4 and 5 as well as legally wedded wife of petitioner No.1 are at liberty to avail appropriate legal remedy against the petitioners.

In case the petitioners have committed any offence, the law will take its own course.
