In the present petition, the prayer of the petitioner is that the date of birth of the petitioner in his matriculation certificate dated 30.05.2019 (Annexure P-1) and 12th certificate dated 06.05.2021 (Annexure P-2) has also wrongly been recorded as 30.05.2004 instead of 29.05.2004, which mistake needs to be rectified as the same is causing prejudice to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has already raised the said grievance in the legal notice dated Nil (Annexure P-4) but the same is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner. 3.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Beant Singh Seemar, Advocate Senior Standing Counsel for respondents who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that in case, legal notice dated Nil (Annexure P-4) has been received in the office of the concerned RIYA 2025.07.09 17:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-14270-2025 (O&M) -2authorities and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Learned counsel for the respondents further submits that before passing the appropriate order in the present case, certain documents have been requested from the school where the petitioner was studying and the petitioner may kindly be directed to ensure that the school sends the required documents so that appropriate order on the legal notice of the petitioner can be passed by the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further and petitioner will impress upon the school where he was studying to send the required documents as being asked by the respondents for deciding the case of the petitioner in the stipulated time .
