(Oral) The present petition is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to release the petitioner on emergency parole, as the marriage of the petitioner i.e. Sharafat is fixed. On notice, a reply has been filed by learned State counsel stating therein that marriage of the brother of the petitioner is fixed for 08/09.04.2017 with Gulfusa Khatoon. Petitioner is a responsible main member of the family. The assurance of the Sarpanch of village Bega has also been placed on record, which was verified by ASI and report has been forwarded by SHO Gannaur, Sonepat (R-1/T).

In view of the reply filed by the State, the present petition is allowed and respondent is directed to release the petitioner on emergency parole to attend the marriage of his brother for a period of two weeks w.e.f 06.04.2017 to 20.04.2017. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the concerned authorities on 21.04.2017 at 10 o'clock at the jail after the expiry GAURAV ARORA 2017.04.07 12:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
