The present petition has been filed by Amarjit Singh for the release of his son Manpreet Singh. A Warrant Officer was appointed in this case but the detenue was not found in the custody of police. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Manpreet Singh has been falsely implicated in a case bearing FIR No. 75 dated 16.04.2017, registered at Police Station Shimlapuri, Ludhiana for offences punishable under Sections 379-B and 411 IPC. Now he has been allowed regular bail by the trial Court.
