CRM-W-965-2020 This is an application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for placing on record the Aadhaar Card of petitioner No.1 as Annexure A-1.

For the reasons stated in the application, Aadhaar Card of petitioner No.1 (Annexure A-1) is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.

CM stands disposed of.

CRWP-7697-2020(O&M) Learned counsel for the petitioners, on the basis of the Aadhaar Cards annexed with the petition, has stated that the both the petitioners are major and have solemnized their marriage as per their wishes. He has further stated that though the parents of the petitioners have no grouse against the marriage of the petitioners, however, the Uncle and Aunt namely, Nitin Kumar and Ranjit Kaur (respondent Nos.4

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Harsimar Singh Sitta, AAG, Punjab has joined the session through video conferencing and accepts notice on behalf of the State. On instructions from ASI Gurwinder Singh, he has stated that the Police party had gone to the house of petitioner No.2 as stated in the memo of parties, however, a lady named Sangeeta, who is staying there, stated that no such person was residing at the given address and in fact the place had never been rented out also to any person named Ajay Valiya (Petitioner No.2 herein).

Learned counsel for the State has further stated that as per the Aadhaar Card of petitioner No.1, she is a resident of Khasa, Amritsar, Punjab. However, in the memo of parties, the address of respondent Nos.4 and 5 has been given as resident of Village Khasa, Tehsil and District Patiala.

Learned counsel for the petitioners is not in a position to explain any of the discrepancies which have been pointed out by learned State counsel. He, however, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh one with better particulars. Permitted to do so.
