Mr. Naveen Batra, Advocate, for the petitioner Mr. Munish Sharma, AAG, Haryana, for the respondent Fateh Deep Singh, J. (Oral) Rubina Ali, the alleged detenue has been produced by her mother Veena Ali under the escort of ASI Ram Pal, Police Station City Yamuna Nagar and has been identified by her mother and father ASI Yunus Ali. She has made statement before this Court that she is major aged 23 years and B.Tech. pass and taking coaching classes for banking competitive examination. She has undergone marriage with petitioner on her own voluntarily without any coercion or force. Though she has come from her parents house from Yamuna Nagar but she wants to reside with petitioner at her matrimonial home. The parents of the girl sought to oppose this relationship.

In view of the fact that the girl is major and wishes to lead her own life as per her own wishes and desires, she is allowed to go from the Court with Saleem-petitioner and live her own life at her wishes and desires. Private respondent is directed not to interfere in the personal life and liberty of the couple.

Criminal Writ Petition No. 456 of 2017 -2Official respondents are also directed to ensure safety of personal life and liberty of the couple and in case any instance of threat is brought to the notice of the police by the couple, they will act into it expeditiously, in accordance with law.

The petition stands disposed off.
