Mr. Parminder Singh-I, Advocate for the petitioner. JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner, who is working as a Math Teacher with the Education Department (Secondary Education), Punjab, is claiming the restoration of the benefit of two increments granted vide approval dated 25.1.2013 as an incentive for having a small family comprising of two daughters only.

Upon notice, a reply has been filed wherein it is inter alia asserted that for availing such an incentive, the employee and his wife must be in the reproductive age group having undergone sterilization procedure.

Faced with the contents of the reply, learned counsel for the petitioner, at the time of hearing prays for withdrawal of the present writ petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
