The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. for directing the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to take appropriate legal action against respondent No.5 to 7, who have been declared proclaimed offenders in complaint case under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Bias, District Amritsar.

Notice of motion was issued on 26.07.2022. Pursuant thereto, status report by way of affidavit of Sukhpal Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Baba Bakala Sahib, Amritsar (Rural) has been filed. 3.
Learned State counsel makes a reference to paras 4 and 6 of the reply, which read thus:- "4. That the deponent has obtained a detailed report from the Station House Officer, Police Station Beas, Amritsar (Rural) with respect to the efforts made by him to arrest of the respondents Nos. 5 to 7 after them being proclaimed offenders. The Station House Officer, Police Station Beas, Amritsar (Rural) had reported that the residence of the respondents Nos. ry Cate 1. OF IR 5 to 7 is situated under the territorial jurisdiction of Police station Sultanwind, Amritsar City, which falls under the jurisdiction of the respondent No. 4 outside the jurisdiction of the Police District Amritsar (Rural). Hence, an information regarding declaration of the respondents No. 5 to 7 SANDAL SHARMA 2023.05.25 11:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CRM-M-31993-2022 (O&M) N.C. No.2023:PHHC:074539 - 2as proclaimed offenders has been duly conveyed to the notice of police station Sultanwind, Amritsar City. It is further reported that continuous and concerted efforts have been made by the Police to arrest them by conducting raids at their last known address at different times but they could not be arrested as it was found that they had lived as tenants in the House No. 373, Street No. 3, Partap Avenue, Amritsar for about 11⁄2 years in the year 2007-2008 and thereafter, shifted to some other place. The landlord of the aforesaid house namely Doctor Piara Singh, son of Bachan Singh had told ASI Shamsher Singh that he did not know the present whereabouts of the respondents Nos. 5 & 7. Beside him, ASI Shamsher Singh has also recorded the statement of the councilor Jarnail Singh, Ward No.
44, Amritsar, who had stated that no persons with the names of Satpal Singh son of Hazara Singh, Karamjit Singh alias Tinku son of Satpal Singh, Rinku son of Satpal Singh (respondents Nos. 5 to 7) are living in the ward No. 44 since the last 10/12 years and if any person of those name will be found in this area, he would inform the Police immediately.

That it is submitted that the deponent has issued strict directions to the Station House Officer, Police station Beas, Amritsar (Rural) to make all possible and concerted efforts to arrest the respondents Nos. 5 to 7 by coordinating with officials of the police station Sultanwind, Amritsar City and with use of alternative methods. The secret informers have also been activated to provide tip offs regarding the whereabouts of the aforesaid private respondents. The deponent undertakes that the no possible efforts would be spared by the Police officials of the Police station Beas, Amritsar (Rural) for the arrest of aforesaid respondents as the earliest."

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed. 5.
Disposed of.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail of any alternate remedy available to him in accordance with law.
