The present contempt petition has been filed under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for willful disobedience of the order dated 06.02.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in CWP-3466-2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that though the entire amount has been paid yet the XEN concerned is making repeated calls and threatening to discontinue the electricity connection. 3.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, states that there is no violation of the aforesaid order inasmuch as no threats had been extended for disconnection of the electricity. She further, on instructions, states that there would be no AMAN JAIN 2025.05.16 09:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

COCP-2392-2025 (O&M) -2coercive steps taken by the respondents till the order dated 06.02.2025 is modified in accordance with law.

In view of the statement made by the learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present contempt petition any further. 5.

Dismissed as not pressed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
