The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhdev Singh, submits that the private respondents have already stated that they have no objection to the relationship though this Court does not endorse the same, as petitioner No.1 is already a married lady and has not been granted any divorce and is living in adultery with petitioner No.2. However, learned State counsel further submits that in fact, the husband-Kulwinder Singh has also made a statement that he is not threatening the petitioners and shall not harm them in future also.

In light of the above, the present petition stands disposed of. 4.
