(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No. 60 dated 01.05.2023, registered under Section 379 IPC and Section 21 of Mines and Minerals Regulation Development Act, 1957, at Police Station Sidhwan Bet, District Ludhiana. Status report by way of an affidavit of the DSP, Jagraon, District Ludhiana (Rural), filed on behalf of the respondent-State, in the Court, is taken on record.

Vide order dated 08.06.2023 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

CRM-M-30112-2023 -2Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Harwinder Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 08.06.2023 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
