*** NIDHI GUPTA, J (Oral) Challenge in the present petition is to the following order dated 02.05.2022 passed by the Family Court, Hoshiarpur:- "Learned counsel for the respondent prayed for adjournment on the ground that mother of respondent has died. On request, case is adjourned to 27.07.2022 for evidence of petitioner, subject to last opportunity." Learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to make out as to why the abovesaid order is illegal or deserves to be set aside. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the talks of compromise are going on between the parties and matter is likely to be settled by way of amicable settlement.

In view of the above facts, I find no merit in the present petition and the same is hereby dismissed.
