ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to award 7.5 marks for experience as he served in the Indian Navy with effect from 30.07.2003 to 31.10.2018 on the post of Petty Officer Logistics (Material), which is equivalent to Clerk in terms of Clause 2.3 (iii)(d) of the advertisement bearingNo.5/2019 dated 20.06.2019 (Annexure P-1). 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, seeks withdrawal of the instant writ petition with liberty to move appropriate representation before the competent authority. 3.
In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file representation within a period of seven days and on his doing so, the same shall be decided by the competent authority in accordance with law, within a period of 30 days thereafter.
