This is a petition that has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.496 dated 16.12.2018 under Sections 341, 365, 511, 392, 394 IPC (Sections 397 and 201 added later on) registered at Police Station Sadar Fatehabad, District Fatehabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner has been in custody since 27.12.2018. Statements of material witnesses have already been recorded including the complainant wherein she has not supported case of the prosecution. He further argues that petitioner be granted bail in order to set up his defence. 3.
Per contra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State opposes the bail application by contending that no ground is made out for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5.
