Learned State counsel submits that after notice of motion was issued in this case, statement of wife of the petitioner was recorded. Same is annexure R-8 to the reply filed by the State. He submits that wife of the petitioner has stated that she has left the company of the petitioner because of the atrocities she was subjected to.
