Prayer in this petition is for release of the alleged detenue i.e., the petitioner's daughter from the clutches of respondents No.4 to 7. As per short reply dated 05.07.2017 of Mr. Shakir Hussain, HPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, NIT Faridabad, filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, it is mentioned that the alleged detenue was recovered on 23.06.2017 from the company of respondent No.4. She is stated to be 19 years old. Her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. was recorded before the learned Area Magistrate, Faridabad wherein the alleged detenue stated that she had left her parental home on her own. She accompanied respondent No.4 out of her own accord and solemnized marriage with him at Chandigarh. Marriage Certificate was produced. She further stated that she is residing in rented premises Omkar Singh 2017.10.07 14:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CRWP No.690 of 2017 [2] alongwith her husband out of her own free will and volition. She has not expressed any desire to live with her parents. It is thus stated that the alleged detenue being major and has solemnized marriage out of her free will, is not in the illegal custody of respondents No.4 to 7. Keeping in view the reply filed on behalf of the State, no further orders are called for in this case.
Petition is accordingly disposed of.
