The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Jaswinder Singh, submits that in fact, the representation (Annexure P-5) has already been considered and petitioner No.1 has made a statement that there is no threat perception as of now to him.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the competent authority, in case of any threat perception.
