In the present petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents by passing a totally cryptic and non-speaking order dated 13.05.2022 (Annexure P-7), rejected the claim regarding correction in the matriculation certificate of the petitioner, which act on the part of the respondents is arbitrary and illegal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no detailed reasons have been given in the impugned order dated 13.05.2022 (Annexure P-7) by which, the claim of the petitioner for the change of date of birth in his matriculation certificate has been rejected by the respondents. 3.
Notice of motion.

Mr. Munish Kapila, Advocate, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents- CBSE. 5.
Learned counsel for the respondents has not been able to rebut the fact that no detailed reasons for rejecting the claim regarding correction in the matriculation certificate of the petitioner have been mentioned by the RIYA 2025.05.29 17:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-13992-2025 (O&M) -2respondents in the impugned order dated 13.05.2022 (Annexure P-7), but, in case, any application seeking change of date of birth in the matriculation certificate of the petitioner is moved by the petitioner through the school concerned to the authorities concerned, the same will be considered afresh and an appropriate speaking order will be passed by the authority concerned in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such application.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case, the claim of the petitioner is found feasible to be accepted, an appropriate order will be passed and in case the same is not feasible to be accepted, detailed reasons for rejecting the same will be mentioned in the speaking order the said order will be conveyed to the petitioner for his information and necessary action.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petitions may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application through school concerned with respondents as stated herein before.

Ordered accordingly.
