This is the third petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in a criminal case arising from the FIR No. 22 dated 19.02.2020, registered under Section 341, 379-B and 34 IPC (Section 394, 397 and 34 IPC and Section 28-A of the Arms Act, 1959 were added later on and Section 341, 34 and 379-B IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, were deleted) at Police Station New Colony, Gurugram. 2.

The first petition for grant of regular bail was dismissed by this Court on 24.07.2020, whereas the second petition was dismissed on 23.04.2021. The learned counsel representing the petitioner contends that although the petitioner is involved in as many as 14 criminal cases, even then he has been acquitted in as many as seven cases. A reply to the petition has been filed alleging that the petitioner is a habitual offender. It has been noticed that since the year 2018, a large number of cases have been registered against the petitioner. In some of the cases, the allegations are serious. The trial Court has already started recording the prosecution evidence.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the trial Court is requested to conclude the trial of the case within a period of six months. 5.

With the observations made above, the present petition is disposed of.
