The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is qua the non-selection of the petitioner to the post of Clerk under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Category against Advertisement No.5/2019 dated 20.06.2020, Category No.1 (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner has scored higher marks than the last selected candidate in the EWS category and hence non-selection of the petitioner has been challenged. Learned counsel for the petitioner would further contend that the petitioner has given a representation dated 18.09.2020 (Annexure P22) to the respondent. However, the same has not been decided till date. Learned counsel for the petitioner further states that the petitioner would be satisfied if the representation dated 18.09.2020 (Annexure P-22) is decided by passing a speaking order within a time bound period. CWP-15687-2020 (O&M) -2- On the asking of Court, Mr. Kiran Pal Singh, AAG, Haryana, has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State through video conferencing and accepts notice. He states that he has no objection in case the present writ petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 18.09.2020 (Annexure P-22) in a time bound manner by passing a speaking order. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 18.09.2020 (Annexure P-22) submitted by the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
