Both Sukhpal Kaur and respondent No. 4 have been identified by ASI Vikramjeet Singh of Police Station Dirba, District Sangrur. Reply filed on behalf of the State, is taken on record. As per reply, Sukhpal Kaur is not detenue but she has married with respondent No. 4-Harpreet Singh and she is living with him of her own volition.

On enquiry, she stated that she has married with respondent No. 4 and is living with him in his house. She left the house of her parents as they were giving beatings to her.
