(Oral) Petitioners are claiming benefits of stepping up the pay at par with their juniors, who are working three steps lower to them. Learned counsel for the petitioners informed the Court that in the written statement dated 20.08.2014, filed by the respondents it has been stated that the pay of the petitioners have been stepped up at par with their juniors and with regard to arrears, the matter is under process. As per judgment of this Court dated 25.03.2014 in CWP No.8587 of 2012 (Annexure P-14), the benefit of arrears of 38 months prior to 11.04.2013 as has been granted to their juniors with whom now their pay has been stepped-up.

CWP No. 17578 of 2013 (O&M) -2this petition and in para No.3 of the writ petition the details of the stepping up of pay all the petitioners has been given, which is as under: - "Inspector :- Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4600/- Sub-Inspector :- Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay 3600/- Assistant Sub Inspector :- Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay 3300/- Head Constable :- Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay 3300/-"
In view of the fact that since one year has already been elapsed and the arrears have not been released to the petitioners as per judgment of this Court (Annexure P-14) and instructions dated 24/31.12.2012 (Annexure P-15), therefore, the present petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent(s) to calculate the arrears of 38 months prior to 11.04.2013 as per above-said judgment (Annexure P-14), within a period of two weeks and thereafter the payment shall be made to the petitioners within two weeks, from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
