(Oral) The challenge in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is to orders dated 06.01.2011 (Annexure P-4), 09.06.2011 (Annexure P-5) and 20.06.2014 (Annexure P-10) respectively, whereby, the appeal and the revision petition filed by the petitioner were dismissed on the ground of being time barred. It was urged that the case of the petitioner was not decided on merits. A prayer has been made for hearing of the appeal on merits in accordance with law. 2.

In the short reply, filed on behalf of respondents No.2 & 3 by the Secretary-cum-Executive Officer, Market Committee, Narwana, District Jind, in para No.5, it has been stated as under:- "5.

That now the appeal of the writ petitioner is being heard on merit and the same is expected to be decided soon. So, claim of the petitioner, as prayed in the present writ petition, has been granted."

In view of the short reply filed by respondents No.2 & 3, since the appeal of the petitioner is being heard on merits and is likely to be decided soon and the necessary relief as claimed in the writ petition has been granted to the petitioner, it was submitted by learned counsel for respondents No.2 & 3, that the present writ petition has become infructuous and may be disposed of as such. It was further stated by learned counsel for respondents No.2 & 3, that the appeal shall be decided expeditiously. 4.

In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant writ petition may be disposed of as infructuous. 5.
