**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ or direction in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to release the amount of final bill for the work done by him.

Petitioner was allocated the work of enhancement/renovation of water supply scheme, Gaibipur, District Hisar on 07.08.2019. Petitioner has successfully completed the work assignment within the time prescribed to the entire satisfaction of the competent authority. CWP No.16209 of 2022(O&M) and issuance of legal notice dated 21.02.2022. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case, his legal notice is ordered to be decided within a specified period in accordance with law.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Vivek Chauhan, Addl., A.G., Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the State. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider the pending legal notice dated 21.02.2022 got issued by the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. If the claim of the petitioner is established with reference to record, then the payment be released to the petitioner forthwith.

If the claim of the petitioner is found to be not sustainable, then a copy of decision be supplied to the petitioner at the earliest.
