The alleged detenue Manpreet Kaur has appeared in the Court along with her parents-the petitioners. It is stated that after being recovered Manpreet Kaur had been produced in the Court of JMIC, Mohali who had handed over her custody to the parents-the petitioners. She had appeared there along with the petitioners. She states that she is aged about 15 years. In that way, she is a minor. She has further stated that she was having friendship with respondent no. 4 Mohan, as such she was residing with him. As informed by learned counsel for respondents no. 5 to 11, an F.I.R. has been registered against Mohan at the instance of Balbir Singh-petitioner no.2, father of Manpreet Kaur. Copy of that F.I.R. is available on the file.
