(Oral) The issue in the present writ petition is regarding the consideration under the reserved category of being a riot affected person since the petitioner has applied under the general category. During the course of proceedings, it transpires that the petitioner has studied 10+2 from Modern Public Senior Secondary School, Ratti and is a resident of Ner Chowk, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. In such circumstances, as per the notification itself and the terms of the prospectus, the petitioner having not studied her 11th and 12th from a school within Punjab, she would not be eligible for admission. In such circumstances, there is no necessity to go into the issue as to whether the change in the category is to be considered or not.
