SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) Through the instant petition, the petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.425 dated 20.05.2019, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 342, 379, 379-A, 427 and 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 3 of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, registered at Police Station City Thanesar.
In compliance of the order dated 05.07.2019, learned State counsel has filed an affidavit dated 16.12.2019 of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra. The same is taken on record. A copy thereof, has been supplied to the counsel for the petitioners.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Bhag Singh submits that the petitioners have joined investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation.
