The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of FIR No.21 dated 13.4.2019 under Sections 354-D, 506, 341 IPC & Sections 9 & 10 POCSO Act, Police Station Bajakhana, District Faridkot. 2.

The prosecutrix has alleged that on 6.4.2019 when she got down from school van, the petitioner came there on his vehicle and threatened the complainant to accompany him. It is alleged that the petitioner also threatened the mother of the complainant to get the marriage of the prosecutrix solemnized with the petitioner failing which he would kidnap the prosecutrix.

Pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court, the petitioner is stated to have joined investigation and has also deposited an amount of GAURAV SOROT 2019.11.18 16:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

(2) CRM-M-27562-2019 `20,000/- as directed by this Court on the last date of hearing. The aforesaid amount be disbursed to the complainant unconditionally. Since the trial is already proceeding, it is not a case which would warrant detention of the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued vide dated 2.7.2019 by this Court are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the Trial Court regularly and abide by any such condition as imposed by the Trial Court for ensuring his appearance regularly in the Trial Court.
