The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 3 (1) (b) of Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1988, seeking a direction to the respondents to decide the application dated 27.2.2017, for Raj Kumar Arora 2017.11.16 11:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In response to the petition, the affidavits have been filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 4, indicating that the application filed by the petitioner for parole is under process and that after verification of the antecedents of the petitioner, the application stands returned to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Charkhi Dadri, vide letter dated 8.9.2017. In view of the fact that the necessary steps to process the application have already been taken, in the interest of justice, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to finalize the procedure for consideration of the application for parole within a period of one month from today. Any order passed on the application be implemented/ communicated to the petitioner by the competent authorities in accordance with law.
