Through this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeaus corpus for the release of detenue, namely; Daljeet Kaur wife of the petitioner from the illegal detention of private respondents No. 4 and 5. 2.

The instant writ petition is dismissed being not maintainable. The petitioner/his counsel is advised to take recourse to the alternative remedy under Section 97 Cr.P.C.
