**** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Section 439 CrPC, prayer has been made for grant of interim bail to the petitioner in FIR No.287 dated 22.12.2022 under Sections 302, 307, 427 & 34 IPC and Sections 25, 27 of Arms Act, 1959 registered at P.S. Dharamkot, District Moga for the purpose of attending the last rites of his father namely Shavinder Singh who unfortunately passed away on 03.06.2023.

Upon advance notice Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. D.A.G. Punjab on instructions from ASI Jaswinder Singh P.S. Dharamkot, District Moga confirms the factum of bhog ceremony of the deceasedfather (Shavinder Singh) of the petitioner scheduled for 13.06.2023 at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Old Bus Stand, Dharamkot, District Moga.

In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner is granted interim bail for a period of three days i.e from 12.06.2023 to 14.06.2023 subject to furnishing of bail bonds and heavy surety to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate. The Court below shall be at liberty to impose any additional condition keeping in view the safe return/surrender of the petitioner.

Upon completion of aforementioned period of interim bail, the petitioner shall surrender before Jail authorities on 15.06.2023 before 10:00 am.
