NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of appropriate directions to respondents No. 1 to 4 to provide adequate security to the petitioner in the light of order dated 11.12.2019 (Annexure P-3) passed by this Court in CRWP-1908-2019, titled as 'Subhash Sondhi @ Subhash Chander vs. State of Punjab and others' whereby respondent No. 3-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, was directed to look into the representation dated 04.12.2019 (Annexure P-2) and to decide the same, in accordance with law. Petitioner in the present case is stated to be one of the witness in a case arising out of FIR No. 129 dated 16.07.2018 (Annexure P-1) registered under Section 304-B read with Section 34 IPC RISHU KATARIA 2024.03.11 17:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

CRM-M-35777-2021 -22024:PHHC:033592 at Police Station Division No. 1, Jalandhar and has accordingly sought security in terms of order dated 11.12.2019 (Annexure P-3). On instructions from ASI Shamji Lal, learned counsel for the State submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous, as all the accused in FIR (Annexure P-1) have been acquitted by the trial Court vide judgment dated 17.10.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid fact and submits that the instant petition may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.

Ordered accordingly.
