SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (Oral) This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to respondent Nos.1 to 5 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners to restrain the private respondents from harassing or interfering in their peaceful married life, as also to direct the Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural), Jalandhar, to consider and decide the representation dated 22.04.2025 (Annexure P-5). 2.

Learned State counsel appearing on advance notice would submit that a speaking order has been passed on the representations made by the petitioner to the Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural), Jalandhar, on 16.05.2025.

Since learned counsel for the petitioner is appearing through video conferencing, copy of the order could not be furnished to him in the Court. However, learned State counsel undertakes that necessary copy of the speaking order so passed shall be furnished to the petitioner during the course of the day by today evening.

In the light of above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not want to press the instant petition and prays for withdrawal of the same. 5.
