(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the 5th respondent-Block Development & Panchayat Officer, Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran to take appropriate action on the legal notice dated 08.11.2016 (Annexure P-7) within a stipulated period.

Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the 5th respondent-Block Development & Panchayat Officer, Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran to consider the legal notice dated 08.11.2016 (Annexure P-7) within a period four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and shall pass a speaking order thereon.
