SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking fair and impartial enquiry into the application (Annexure P-1) and take action in accordance with law as per the judgment pronounced by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in 'Lalita Kumari vs. State of UP and another'.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied, in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 18.01.2025 (Annexure P-1) within a time bound manner.

Without adverting to the merits of the case, the respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana is directed to consider and decide the representation dated 18.01.2025 (Annexure P-1) by passing a speaking order in accordance with law after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
