SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) The Court has been convened through video conferencing due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for issuance of direction to official respondents No.1 to 4 to register an FIR on the basis of the complaint dated 23.06.2020 (Annexure P-4) submitted by petitioner No.1.

In response to the notice issued by this Court, short reply by way of an affidavit dated 03.12.2020 of DSP Kurukshetra has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4, wherein it has been submitted as under:- "4.

That during investigation (of) the case and as per statement of above named girl under Section 164 Cr.P.C., her age was found 19 years and allegations levelled in the complaint by her parents were found false. After that FIR SAVITA KADIAN 2020.12.14 14:09 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh

CRM-M-30381 of 2020 (O&M) {2} No.300 dated 10.06.2020 under Sections 363, 366 IPC, Police Station Sadar Thanesar, District Kurukshetra was cancelled vide report dated 10.07.2020 and copy of the same is enclosed herewith as Annexure R-1 for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court.

That the petitioner No.1 has moved an application to Superintendent of Police Kurukshetra on 23.06.2020 bearing No.Dasti 270-D regarding cancellation of FIR No.300 dated 10.06.2020 under Sections 363-366-A, Police Station Sadar Thanesar. The police investigated the matter on the above said application and cancelled the FIR No.300 dated 10.06.2020 on the statement of petitioner No.1 in which she has stated that after verification of her birth certificate from competent authority or from her school records and cancelled the above said FIR. After cancellation of above said case the police filed the application of petitioner No.1 after her satisfaction on 27.06.2020. The copy of statement of petitioner No.1 is enclosed herewith as Annexure R-2 for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court."

In view of the above development, no orders are called for. Petition is disposed of.
