Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case FIR No.62 dated 17.04.2019 registered at Police Station Shahkot, District Jalandhar, complainant/petitioners are being compelled to effect the compromise instead of fair investigation in that case by the police. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural), Jalandhar to look into the grievance of the petitioners as put forth by their counsel and take appropriate action to redress their grievance that fair investigation in this case is not being conducted. However, it is made clear that the nothing observed in the order will be taken as expression of opinion of this Court on any of the plea put forth by learned counsel for the petitioner or mentioned in the representation.
