Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.66 dated 29.05.2019 under Sections 323, 324, 307, 427, 148 and 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Nurpur Bedi, District Rupnagar.

Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for the complainant appeared and contested the petition. I have heard learned counsel for the parties as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that no injury has been declared VINEET GULATI 2019.07.23 14:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh dangerous to life. Though, the present petitioner is named in the FIR and

CRM No.M-27629 of 2019 -2specific injuries have been attributed to him but all injuries have been declared simple in nature.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, without discussing the facts in minute detail and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and it is ordered that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, he shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
