The petitioner has challenged the award of the Labour Court, Ambala, dated 26.02.2015, by which the industrial dispute filed by the petitioner and referred to the Labour Court by the Government has been declined.

The case set up by the petitioner was that she was employed in place of her deceased husband as Class-IV employee and her services were terminated by respondent no.2, without following the mandatory provisions of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. However, the Labour Court has recorded a categoric finding on the basis of evidence available on record that the petitioner has failed to prove that she had been given employment after the death of her husband, what to talk of termination of her services. Counsel for the petitioner has failed to point out any error in the order of the Labour Court insofar as the appreciation of facts are concerned nor could highlight the evidence which has not been considered. In view thereof, I do not find any merit in the present petition and hence, the same is hereby dismissed.
